Inspired by all things beautiful...
One of my absolute favorite fabric lines ever! This fabric is so incredibly beautiful and reminiscent of childhood days gone by. I can’t wait to sew it up. I am stocking a complete custom spot for whatever you wish for with it Monday at Capella , so be on the look out for that :)
Bella Rose Inspirations recently celebrated 2 years of being in business. We had a few giveaways for our wonderful fans and customers. Congratulations to all the winners :) and thank you wonderful ladies for your continued support, we would not be here without you!
I’ve been super busy lately, wanting to get much finished before baby gets here (I’m due early January with a green bean, in case I hadn’t previously mentioned it). So I am running a fiesta tights (and longies) pre-order on my hyena cart Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th, so don’t forget to check it out if you are stocking up on your fall and winter longies.
I am also guest stocking at The Apple Orchard Friday 19th so check us out there too. I will have some fun items for both girls and boys.
And I’m trying my hand at making some newborn cloth diapers (and knitting covers). I should have pics in the next couple of days of my projects. Noob stuff is so adorable and squishy, I can’t wait to have a teeny one to put them in.
That’s it for updates, I’ll have pics in my next post with Apple Orchard items and my own personal projects for bebe bean.
My new-found love, ruffle fabric. These sweet cascading layers of sure girlyness, perfect for these warm Spring and summer days! They are so much fun to play with. And they are incredibly light and airy, not heavy whatsoever. I have found a few uses for them and have quite a few more ideas swimming around in my head, I just need to find the time to turn my ideas into reality.
But I did make my daughter another “ruffle dress”.

She really does love it, but prefers to be sassy these days.

And I have quite a bit more to use up..
Licorice and cream

Ivory

Steel orchid

Cotton candy

and Sweetheart

And these are on the way to me. They should be here within 2 weeks. I love these colors, so bright and Springy!

Caribbean Blue

Hot pink

Light pink

and Chartreuse

So what do you think? Would you be interested in purchasing one of these? Let me know your thoughts and I could stock some semi custom spots on my HC, if there is enough interest in them. :) And they would run from 30-35 depending on size.
I have finally finished up my Facebook co-op. I would like to thank all the participants for their patience with me. I tallied up everything and I made over 139 items, in just under a month. *Faints* Well, I am thinking of taking a short break, from co-ops and customs and just stocking my store, but we’ll see how long that really lasts… lol. To see pics of the co-op please visit my FB fan page pictures- https://www.facebook.com/photos.php?id=298996207010
Moving onto other news, I have found some fabulous new Joel Dewberry Aviary fabrics

I will be stocking late next week and making some items with these and if I have some extra time, possible a semi-custom or two with them. What do you think?
And also stocking a couple skirties with VHTF fabrics-My Little Pony, Munki Munki inchworms or Munki munki Fireflies, and maybe a few more. I am also finishing up some Spring/Easter dresses for customers early next week.
It has no doubt been super busy around here and I am looking to settle back down into a schedule with my kids and start back my Homeschool schedule.
I also got some lovely ruffle fabric last week and had to make something for Bella with it. Here is the pic
It has an extra long bow (which I am thinking of shortening) at the back cinching the waist in a bit.
And I finished up this spring outfit for her as well-

And one more Spring skirt-

Sorry for the pic overload, and thanks for peeking and reading :)
I am working my way through the Facebook Co-op. Today I did a lot of sewing tags on completed items that haven’t shipped yet and worked on some trainers, and tonight I will be working on and hopefully finishing all of the trainers.
The fun thing about co-ops though is seeing all the fun combinations that the participants come up with using the different fabrics and layers. And all the different colors together after being sewn brightens up my sewing area. I love it.
I still have a few orders to complete. I was hoping to have everything finished by Friday, but you know how it goes. Especially with a little ones needing mama during the day (and night). So I am thinking mid next week I should have everything completed. Cross your fingers with me!
Tomorrow, I promised my kids that I will be taking them to the Children’s Museum. I am most definitely looking forward to having some fun with them exploring and being a kid for a few hours. And they are definitely excited about it too.
A good friend of mine asked me to make a dress for her daughter, with one of my favorite fabrics. (Okay that may be a tiny white lie as I have way too many favorite fabrics) but I loved the end result! I hope she does too :)
The fabrics are from Amy Butler’s Love collection, and yes, I am in “Love”.
I’ve finally started blogging again. I apologize to all my customers and fans for not being the best about blogging what I’ve been doing, sewing, creating etc. But I’ve resigned myself to be better about it and here it is finally.
I will re-introduce myself for those who do not know me. Firstly I am a mama to two adorably sweet and feisty children- my son who is 4, almost 5 (where has the time gone?) and my daughter who is 2. Bella Rose Inspirations was born almost immediately following my daughter’s birth. She really has been the inspiration behind much of my creativity and I am grateful to her for that and so much more. For those who do not know the story behind her birth, I will be posting it on here within a few days, but I will post a link to it- http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=622954
Aside from being a mama to my two, I am a homemaker, cooking, sewing and crafting enthusiast, vintage loving, homeschooling and natural/organic living gal. I absolutely love sewing and crafting. The best thing about sewing is being able to take a piece of fabric and a few notions and turn it into something beautiful that my children (and customers) and myself of course, love.
So I hope this is an okay start to me blogging again. I look forward to sharing my creations and even some tutorials for things I’ve made in the near future.
